Searching the Collections
To search the Archives, Photographs, and Media Database, key a term (i.e., personal name, corporate name, place name, subject) into the search box on the left.
To search for a phrase such as "World's Fair," place the phrase in quotes. To narrow your search and omit possible word combinations,
place a minus sign (-) before the word you wish to omit. For example, "bass -fish" finds matches for bass guitar but not bass fishing.
To search the guides to the archives and photographs and prints collections in PDF form, see the links under "PDF Guides" on the left.
Browsing the Collections
To browse the collections, choose one of the options under "Browse" on the left.
