Rainbow Village was built in 1979 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Although it is a separate entity from St. Louis Arc, it was formed by parents affiliated with the Arc to be a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities. They hoped that it would be a place where their children could live after they, as parents, were no longer able to care for them. The St Louis Arc provides programs and care for the campus's residents.
